Here are the peculiar rules by which our league is running this season:

Each driver must drive a particular car in each race, determined by his finishing position in the previous race. It is an inverse of the approximate overall speed differential of the cars. So, the winner of one race must compete in the next race using what is generally considered to be the slowest car, and so on. To prevent sandbagging, no one knows what the next race will be until after the checkered flag falls on the current one. The tracks are chosen at random.

1st place drives the BRM P83.
2nd place drives the Honda RA300.
3rd place drives the Cooper-Maserati T81B.
4th place drives the Brabham-Repco BT24.
5th place drives the Ferrari 312.
6th place drives the Eagle-Weslake. (No, it's not called a T1G -- ask Dan Gurney!)
Everyone else drives the Lotus-Ford 49.

For the first race of the season, car assignments were based on the finishing positions in the previous season's points, with one twist: As there was a tie for the championship, both co-winners drove the BRM, and I, technically third in the championship, drove the Honda, and so offset down the order.

Although the cars are all based on the 1967 Grand Prix season, the tracks are layouts from many different years throughout the history of motor racing. Often, they are tracks on which Grand Prix cars never competed in real life, though they are all real tracks, unless otherwise specified. When I list the tracks, I put its name, the country in which it is located, and the year of existence upon which the track layout is based (in some cases it's an estimate).
